Bajo Sospecha, Yon González' current project, is a detective-drama series which follows a single crime/plot during a given season. The series produced by Atresmedia and Bambú Producciones, focuses on protagonists (a detective team and their superior) who are faced with a different crime each season. The series first debuted in February of 2015 with the two detectives assigned as undercover cops infiltrating a community to solve the disappearance of a child from a small town. Aside from the mystery of the season, the producers have said that the series will also focus on relationships and interaction between the detectives and their colleagues including the police commissioner who is played by veteran actor, Luis Homar. The series has been compared to Broadchurch, a British series starring David Tennant. The popularity of the show in Spain prodded airing of the series in several other Spanish language markets and also in Italy where it garnered a large following.
