Awakening

Beautiful as the ocean that I hold so dear
Passionate, longing, emotions so clear
I'd want to move into my love's eyes
Where I fell weak with my soulful cries 
He heard me though we did not speak 
Came to rescue me when I felt weak 
And life was given to me once more
Taking me to heaven like never before 
Like a butterfly I emerged
Spreading my new found wings
Excitement, glory, soaring so high
Perched on a branch in the beautiful sky
And I will cherish every moment
Every kiss, every touch, every glance
And I will cry every day
Mourning the life that never had a chance ...
